Bonington Gallery is wheelchair accessible. You can learn more about access to our building and facilities here.
Walking: Situated on Nottingham Trent University’s City Campus, the Gallery is a short walk from Nottingham city centre.
Cycling: There are bike racks around the corner from the Bonington Building on Shakespeare Street.
Driving: Nottingham is well served by the M1 motorway, linking us to the rest of the country. Due to our central location, we don’t have visitor parking available, but there is on-street parking nearby. There are also several Park & Ride services on the outskirts of the city.
Tram and train: The tram will bring you almost to our door, which runs directly from Nottingham Train Station. Get off at the Nottingham Trent University stop on Goldsmith Street.
Nottingham Train Station is linked by direct routes from London, to other major cities in the Midlands and North of England.

Boningtons Art Shop is open to the public and one of the few remaining art supplies shops in the city. It offers a wide range of products – from card and paper through to paints, pens, sketchbooks and much much more! Open Monday – Friday during NTU term time, you can find out more, including contact details, on the Boningtons Art Shop webpage.
Located at the entrance to the Bonington building, our café offers a wide variety of hot drinks including barista coffees, speciality teas and hot chocolate, all available While you’re visiting the Gallery, why not grab a drink or a bite to eat at Café Bonington. Open to all, the café offers hot and cold drinks and a range of sweet and savoury lunch / snack food to eat in or takeaway, including vegan and vegetarian options.
