MA ART AND DESIGN PROJECTS 2014 – 2015
Every work of design or art is the result of a journey. The journey takes the designer or artist across unknown territory and demands the solving of problems, the discovery of ideas, the taking of risks and the excitement of new experiences.
Open Studio was an exhibition of new work from our graduating master’s students. It took a fresh approach to showcasing students’ creative practice, through providing insights into the process of research, experimentation and decision-making that lies behind each individual’s personal learning journey.
No gallery, no boundaries, just students, their work and an open studio.
Taking place in the Atrium and Postgraduate Studio in the Bonington building, the exhibition represented a diverse range of work from our Visual Communication; Fashion, Textiles and Knitwear Design and Visual Arts courses.
